Lester-Robbins Construction Inc. first opened in 2008 and has recently just celebrated 17 years of operation this past April of 2025!

An American Concrete Institute certification marks the completion of one of the 17 certification programs for personnel in the concrete construction industry. Our certification is for advanced concrete flatwork finishing.

A laser screed is used to accurately place and screed various types of concrete slabs and floors. From basic flat building floors or storage units to large industrial or commercial floors that require extremely flat FF and FL tolerances.

Spalling is when your concrete starts flaking or chipping on the surface. It usually happens because of water getting in, freezing and thawing, using salt in winter, or even rusty metal inside the concrete. The best way to avoid it? Use good concrete, seal it, and make sure it’s installed right.

Concrete hardens enough to walk on in about a day or two, but it takes about 28 days to a month to fully cure. Weather, thickness, and the mix can change that and the cure time ultimately depends on the project itself. Letting it cure properly helps prevent cracks and keeps it strong for years.

Yes, you probably do. Concrete work isn’t just pouring and waiting, it takes the right tools, timing, and prep. Even small jobs can go wrong fast, leading to uneven surfaces or cracks. A pro, like Lester-Robbins Construction, makes sure it’s done right the first time.

Small cracks or chips can usually be fixed with special repair materials. If the damage is big, sometimes replacing the section is better. We’ll check it out and tell you the best way to fix it.
